A Tianjin case can be a local airport movement or a distinct Beijing–Tianjin intercity leg. Never assume a Beijing flight is arriving in Tianjin.

Local route choices

Tianjin and Beijing can appear in the same family travel plan but TSN, PEK and PKX are different airports. Confirm the code on each flight and whether the road journey crosses the municipal boundary. A Tianjin hospital to a Beijing airport is not the same quote as a TSN departure. The receiving department in Tianjin may accept at a different time from a Beijing-side specialist. Keep those contacts and payer approvals separate; a change to Beijing arrival should trigger a fresh vehicle assessment.

Receiver and location test

At a TSN arrival, verify the passenger’s last operating sector rather than a connection departing Beijing. If the receiver is in Tianjin, the road team should not be assigned to a Beijing airport. If the receiver is in Beijing, confirm that intercity movement and payer authorisation separately. Ask for the Tianjin hospital department or Beijing unit by name; a family member living in either city does not establish clinical acceptance.

Hospital acceptance before dispatch

Name the receiving hospital, department and person authorised to confirm acceptance. A hospital enquiry, an appointment and an accepted clinical handover are different states. Ask the sending team what summary may be shared securely and what support must continue during the road segment. If the patient instead goes home or to rehabilitation, change the destination and receiver rather than using a hospital template.

Decision in this direction

At the first call, the family often knows the touchdown time but not the point where airline assistance stops. Request a name and phone number for the person physically meeting the traveller, and the hospital unit that will take responsibility at the other end. Compare the current estimated landing with the receiver’s admission window; if they cannot align, resolve the receiving plan before dispatch. Inbound baggage and a companion may require a second vehicle.

At TSN, identify the final flight and receiving municipality. If the intended hospital is in Beijing, the road team is performing an intercity assignment, not a short Tianjin airport run. A diversion to a Beijing airport changes the pickup code, route and responsible supplier. Confirm the destination unit’s revised acceptance before moving the ground booking; family preference alone does not establish a bed.

What the quote must actually cover

TSN, PEK and PKX are different airport assignments. Put the actual code, hospital municipality and final road destination in one instruction. A family based in Beijing may be organising a Tianjin hospital case, or the reverse. If the booked airport changes between the cities, the dispatch geography, payer approval and receiving time must all be revisited; changing the airport label alone is insufficient.
