Route beyond the airport city

Give the sending ward or authorised pickup point and the receiving institution’s department, not merely Xiamen and a second city. Confirm whether the receiver is on Xiamen Island, in another city district, or across to another Fujian city; these are different ground journeys even if the inbound flight is unchanged. If onward movement crosses to a different city, establish whether the patient can tolerate one continuous journey and whether the intended facility will accept that arrival window. A flight into Xiamen does not itself confirm a hospital appointment.

Only compare an uninterrupted road movement with a flight after clinicians assess travel tolerance and the operating carrier assesses any required onboard arrangement. A flight creates at least two road legs and two airport handovers. Decide who revises the receiving time if traffic, discharge or a connection fails.
