Choose the transaction

For an arriving patient, identify the airline’s assistance endpoint and hospital receiver before matching road support. For a departing patient, begin with hospital discharge and airline acceptance. For a longer transfer, secure two exact care addresses and receiving hours. These three journeys use different timing and authorisation; none is established by booking a vehicle under a city name.

Local route choices

The airport code XIY refers to Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, which is physically in Xianyang. A family saying “Xi’an airport” still needs to identify the airport public meeting point and the city or district of the receiving care. A proposed journey into central Xi’an differs from continuing onward elsewhere in Shaanxi. Ask whether the receiver can accept after a late inbound arrival and who can reauthorise the road crew if discharge or boarding moves. The Xianyang location should never be mistaken for the destination hospital.

Receiver and location test

At XIY, ask whether the hospital is in Xianyang, central Xi’an or farther into Shaanxi. The airport’s administrative location does not mean the patient’s hospital is nearby. A new family address supplied after landing should not replace a clinician-approved receiving facility without explicit agreement. Confirm the public meeting point at XIY and an independent contact at the ultimate institution before the road crew leaves.

Select support from the actual need

A mobile traveller may only require accessible transport and a clear meeting point. A clinician-specified oxygen, stretcher or observation need requires provider assessment for the actual road leg and separate carrier assessment for any flight. Name who will lift or transfer the person at each junction, and whether companions and luggage have capacity.

Decision in this direction

Use this city page as a choice point: arriving from abroad requires airline-to-road and road-to-receiver acceptance; leaving a hospital requires discharge, outbound road and airline acceptance; moving onward needs an intercity risk and timing assessment. Ask which of these transactions the family actually means before asking for a price. The answer changes the documents, personnel, timing and who pays.

The people at each interface

The Xi’an hub should separate the actual XIY airport in Xianyang from hospital destinations in Xi’an and farther Shaanxi. Choose airport arrival when airline assistance ends at XIY, hospital departure when a Xi’an ward releases the patient, and long road when the receiver lies beyond the urban route. The family should provide both the airport code and the hospital district; one city name does not describe the assignment.

What the quote must actually cover

XIY is in Xianyang and the destination may be in Xi’an or farther across Shaanxi. State separately the airport meeting point, the Xi’an hospital department and any subsequent provincial endpoint. A ticket for XIY cannot tell the driver which city or district closes the assignment. The accepting unit, not the airport or a family map pin, decides whether clinical handover is available at the revised arrival time.

Choose the Xi'an arrival page when the flight is inbound and the receiver is local; departure when a hospital releases the patient to a flight; longer-distance when the final care address is outside the city. Reconfirm provider, airline and receiver after a material change.
